Our Story
Or should I say my story...
Hi, I'm Janice, the founder of Tippsyfingers.
Since my school days, I have always been passionate about creating with my hands. Whether it was arts and crafts, baking, beauty, or handmade creations, I found joy in the process of turning simple materials into something meaningful. Over the years, I pursued this passion by gaining certifications as a lash and nail technician, baker, and barista, while continually expanding my skills through various art, craft, and homemade skincare courses.
In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic brought unexpected changes to many lives, including mine. Circumstances led me to leave my full-time job, and what initially felt like a difficult decision became an opportunity to pursue what I truly loved. This journey led to the creation of Tippsyfingers.
As a solopreneur, baker, crafter, and workshop instructor, my mission is simple: to show people that creativity is for everyone. You don't need perfect skills, artistic talent, or nimble fingers to create something beautiful, meaningful, or delicious.
At Tippsyfingers, we believe that everyone can create magic with their own hands. Our workshops are thoughtfully designed for beginners and hobbyists alike, with step-by-step guidance to ensure every participant feels comfortable, supported, and proud of what they create.
Many of us have saved inspiring craft projects or baking ideas from social media, hoping to try them someday. Yet getting started can often feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to learning new skills or investing in materials and tools for a single project. Through our workshops, we provide not only instruction and guidance, but also access to the supplies, tools, and creative environment needed to explore new interests without the hassle.
More importantly, Tippsyfingers aims to be a welcoming and inclusive space where people can connect, learn, and create together. We strive to build a community of makers, crafters, and creatives who share the joy of making something with their own hands.
Whether you're looking to relieve stress, spend quality time with family and friends, celebrate a special occasion, or simply discover a new hobby, our workshops offer an opportunity to slow down, be present, and enjoy the creative process.
Come with a friend, bring your family, or join us on your own—you might just leave with a handmade creation, a new skill, and a few new friends.
